We're not sure what the camo'ed up Evoque test cars with the swirly-whirly disguise were doing in Death Valley as the five-door model was unwrapped at last year's Los Angeles Auto Show and is bound to go on sale in the States in October.
Today, we're happy to share some excellent photos of the next generation of the Hyundai Santa Fe, which will be renamed to iX45 in Europe and other markets around the world that follow the South Korean maker's alphanumeric nomenclature.
The man behind the camera was autoscardesign reader Landoni Corrado from Italy, who during a visit to the USA, caught a bunch of 2013 Santa Fe prototypes hot-weather testing in California's Death Valley.

This blacked out 991 was snagged filling up at a gas station in Germany. The test car was stripped out of any Porsche badges and logos, but the quad tail pipes reveal that it's the more powerful Carrera S (the standard Carrera has twin tail pipes), which is motivated by a 400-horsepower 3.8-liter flat-six.

Earlier this week, autoscardesign reader "Majdo-dk" tipped us off through our comments that the Audi Q7 Pickup Truck does indeed exist in real life, and to prove it, he pointed us towards a Facebook page with four photos of the one-off model.
Well, the…Italian Grand Voyager may have yet to appear on the firm's official webpage and Fiat's press division may still have that single image showing a Town & Country photoshoped with Lancia badges (no, really, 6 months after we reported it, the Italians continue to display the same digitally manipulated picture…), but the minivan has made its appearance on the road.
But not where you'd expect. The Lancia Grand Voyager was spotted by autoscardesign reader Molly S. travelling alongside a light-blue Chrysler minivan on the M-14 highway in eastern Michigan.

This is the sixth generation of BMW's hugely popular sports sedan model. Aside from the evolutionary styling changes, the big news for the F30 3-Series is the introduction of a new range of four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engines with a displacement of 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter delivering between 135HP and 245-horsepower.

The photos were shot from a distance with a cell phone camera, so it’s difficult to tell the brand and make of the vehicles. Our unnamed reader told us that the front end looked like a Cadillac but the rest of the car reminded him of a Buick, and we’ll agree with him.
According to the person who shot the clip, Lexus raced the car just before this past weekend’s 24-hour Nurburgring endurance race kicked off.

We first showed you the Porsche Cayenne with the Ontario license plates last Friday, but today, autoscardesign reader Jonathan Fernando spotted the car parked outside –wait for the drum roll- a….Dollarama store and didn’t waste the opportunity to snap a few photos.
While we do not have a definite answer to what it may be, possible scenarios include a test car for a new Skoda Octavia and a prototype for a Volkswagen-badged model for select markets outside Europe.
Mini has already revealed plans to debut the Coupe version of the series at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show this September, with sales to follow towards the end of the year. The ragtop Roadster model will follow at a later date.

And that’s where autoscardesign reader Michael from Germany steps in. Michael spotted this partially camouflaged 2012 BMW 6-Series Coupe parked somewhere in Munich. And while the lack of any aero parts such as the typical M-style front bumper with larger air vents minimize the possibility of it being the new M6, there are two elements that make us believe it could be the upcoming Alpina B6.
