While advances in bicycle technology don’t typically arouse my interest, I’m a sucker for shiny objects and the wheel-mounted Revolights are actually very cool.
Drawing power from a rechargeable lithium ion battery, the system consists of four “light rings,” each sporting a dozen LEDs and a dash of electronics. It features two racing motorcycles and their respective drivers during a round of the promosport Championship at the Magny Cours track in France. The incident began when the first motorcyclist slips before a turn sending his bike sliding on the tarmac, and eventually hit a rider in front knocking him down from his bike.
