The solution – to companies such as BAIC, Dongfeng, Chang’an and others – is to seek talent abroad; in Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK and USA. Research and development centres are popping up in Nottingham and Detroit and recruitment fairs are being held in Munich, Stuttgart and Aachen.

It appears that this year's Shanghai Auto Show, which open its gates for the public on April 22, will be packed with myriads of weird looking concept cars demonstrating the dynamic of China's rapidly growing automobile industry. It also looks like that in order to keep up with the fad, we'll be 'forced' to invigorate our automotive dictionary with new car brands such as Changan Motors that has issued the first photos of its e301 subcompact crossover.Not surprisingly, Changan Motors is being secretive about the e301 and what it represents for the company. We'd go for nothing aside from spicing up the firm's Shanghai Show stand, but you all know how automakers come up with a nice story on every-single concept they create, so we'll wait to hear Changan's official take on the e301.
