The global market slowdown is once again to blame for Honda's decision to further postpone the opening of its new Japanese auto plant in Yorii, Saitama. The start of operations of the new auto plant in Yorii which is currently under construction, was initially scheduled for 2010, but in December 2008, Honda announced a delay of more than a year.
